The Broken Handle is a Local Milwaukee Rock band. They have a story to tell and are looking for some one to listen.” We are not out to make millions, just to make some good music and tell a story!” The Broken Handle’s sound has a driving edge with a smooth Grove with a flair of blues. Don’t be afraid to put on the head phones and be taken on a journey.

The band started out with a few beers a guitar and a set of drums in an old basement. Jamming weekend after weekend it was time to share with others.

The Sound

The Broken Handle is a two man band. Located out of Milwaukee WI. They have driving music with some real feeling from the heart.

The Band started with the classic Saturday nights drunken jam session. Their Sound really started to take shape as time went on. These two wanted to capture that feeling when they would shake the basement with their loud music. They are currently working on getting this great sound recorded.. They are excited to share this with the world.

Their sound is any thing from rock music to folk. They can change on a dime and start coming up with another great lick. Don’t be afraid to get away from the main stream music that is force feed to you on the radio and MTV.

Eric plays the Guitar and also creates the Driving rhythm of the Drums.

Fritz:

Fritz really pulls things together. He is just one of those guys that just has natural feel for music. He know where he wants to go and takes it there. He Brings a lot to the table but there are a few things that really stand out, his Great guitar work and poetry lyrics.

Fritz has a solo album out now. You can check out the music on the Fritz Page or in the music samples on the left side of the page. The songs are done on acoustic guitar and have a real nice relaxing feel with some meaningful lyrics. Great listening when you are kick back a few beers
